enough for 15 cups of coffee.  1 bottle of instant coffee at Aldi’s is 2.99 for 8 oz used about ¼ or 1/5 the bottle.

Pictures include backpack, which is military surplus molle pack with metal frame. It is very comfortable to wear and light. 3 large exterior pockets for ready to get at items and lots of loops to hang things on. I have my knife sheath tied on the left side. Large inner pocket under flap to store ready to get at items so you don’t have to rummage through the bag and dig around. Room at the bottom of the frame to hang other bags or use straps to hold a sleeping bag, tent, etc. I leave my poncho loose under the tie down straps so I can just pull it out if it begins to down pour. With everything shown it doesn’t weight more than 30 pounds.

The Fire Stove I made works really well and when the flames die down the hot coals will boil water. I have a picture of it going and started it with three cotton balls soaked in alcohol from the medical kit just one light and it was going and started all the wood branches I put in it. Alcohol burns very hot. I have other fire starters but did not use them to start the stove.

The poncho is hanging on the refrigerator, both sides slit and a slit that lets your face come through, all you have to do is tie a string around your waist and it over laps your body. Front and back hang down past my knees and I am 5’ 9”

Note From Buckshot: I believe everyone can agree Don won hands down. A very well thought out kit. I do recommend he get a water filter to add to the kit later. Like the Berky Sport's bottle.

Note From Buckshot: The Hobo Tool I had to email and ask what it was. LOL I found a picture so you all know what it is too. It was a real toss up between Carol and Kevin but Kevin remembered toilet paper so he won second place hands down. :-) The Bag of chicken I don't recommend because of spoilage.

Kevin emailed back: The Tyson chicken pouches that I put in my list are the kind that you don't have to refrigerate. They are in sealed pouches and are lighter than a can. They are also pre-cooked and taste great. They sell them at Wal-mart on the aisle where they sell canned chicken. They last just as long as the canned stuff. They also have tuna, beef stew and ham.

I also found some small lightweight meal that you are supposed to microwave called Hormel completes. They come in chicken and dumplings, beef stew, meatloaf and mashed potatoes, roast beef and mashed potatoes and gravy, chicken and rice. I have found that you can put them in boiling water and cook them. They also have a long shelf life and are easy to carry in a bug out bag. If you don't have them around where you live I can send you a few. I can also send you a couple of pocket radios. Let me know.

Note From Buckshot: I emailed Carol and asked about towels, soap, toothbrush, etc.. She said "That is all in my kit I grab from my house before I leave." That is ok of a plan but you should have everything you need in the Bag before hand. The whole idea is not to be running around the house trying to find supplies.

4-conibear #110 traps

$27.96

http://www.snare-trap-survive.com/Winter-Sale.htm

The silver is for making colloidal silver. I did have this in my list before you had your guests on that one show who mentioned it. I thought I would be the only one to think of it! Again that silver is anti-viral and anti-bacterial. It can be taken orally or insufflated, or put into a poultice. These coins will last forever just in case that 3 days turns into a permanent vacation.

The batteries would be put in series to make 27V for the colloidal silver production.

The jumper leads are for an easy connection between the positive and negative of the batteries and the 2 silver coins.

This root (Rhodiola Rosea Root Extract) has anti-stress, anti-fatigue, anti-oxidant, anti-viral (h1n1, and Chinese bird flu), anti-bacterial, and anti-tumor properties. Each of these things can be found in the studies published at www.pubmed.org . I would absolutely want this to help cope with stress which would probably be present if you have to bug out.

Regards!!  Whitey
